The sermon title was “From Mourning to Comfort" and the scripture was Luke 7:11-17 and Matthew 5:4. We all go through hard times - we all lose things and people that are important to us but Jesus promises to comfort those who mourn. One of the reasons Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit is to live in us so we can be comforted forever. He promises to comfort us and we are called to comfort others. Let's be about drawing close to Him and comforting others as best we can.
