Sunday School

"Our mission is to inspire children to learn about God's love, to grow in faith and to walk in His Light"

What is our belief?  We focus on choosing a curriculum and creating an atmosphere where children can learn about God's love in a fun, loving, exciting, and accepting environment.

When is Sunday School? We invite families to worship together in the sanctuary during the first part of the service with their parents to include them as part of our worshiping family. Children and the youth stay with their parents for the beginning  of the service to make them a part of our worshiping family. Then they are called to the front of the church to be with the pastor during the Children’s Message. After the message they go off together for Sunday school.

Sunday School Classes:  Nursery, for our littlest members, walking toddlers(ages 1-2) Preschoolers(ages 3-4), Lower Elementary (Kindergarten-2nd Grade), upper elementary (3rd to 5th grade). Our nursery children are tended by a professional certified staff member, Maria Downs with able assistance from parental volunteers.

Children's Ministries:

Children's Minute for Mission-Once a month the children gather for a mission awareness project where they either participate in a church wide mission or work on their own mission projects for our community and around the world.

Events and Activities- Throughout the year and on each holiday, our children's committee hosts events, celebrations, and activities for all our kids to enjoy and for families to continue to grow together!

The Children's program is overseen by our Director of Children's Ministries Marie Reny. For more information about our Sunday school and children's ministry please contact us at

Minute for Mission
March Challenge: Be a good example!

This month our kids were challenge to chose someone in their life that they think is a good example. Then find ways you can be more like them to be a good example to others. We are asked to "let your light shine before others" (Matthew 5:16). How can we do this in our lives?!

What is M4M? After Children's minute in church, we gather all our elementary students to explore one aspect of leading a mission/service oriented life on the first Sunday of each month. The kids are then given a challenge for the month on how to practice the lesson. Committee outings are planned once each quarter to put our lessons into action.
